Homemade Basil Pesto

When you end up with such a #healthy crop of#sweetbasil, it would be a pity to just let it be. For all those who love a good pesto, if you are wondering how to make a fresh batch with the preservative-free goodness of a homemade recipe, IT’s INCREDIBLY EASY! Here’s a 5 ingredient pesto that’s ready in less than 5 minutes. 

• 2 Cups fresh basil (best if homegrown)
• 1/2 cup roasted whole almonds 
• 3 Cloves of Garlic 
• 20g grated Parmesan (optional)
• 40 ml of Extra virgin olive oil 

Combine the ingredients with a teaspoon of sea salt and blitz in a food processor while slowly pouring the olive oil. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for upto a week or 10 days.
