Loving Hut: Vegan and love

“Veganism is not a “sacrifice”. It is a joy. Loving Hut seems to be the very embodiment of this message.

imageWith over 200 restaurants around the world, Loving Hut is tucked away in the shophouses of Joo Chiat, East Coast. As you walk into this lovely, vegan haven the pretty lights and clean decor immediately lift you up. Whats even more striking is a menu full of sinful delights that are surprisingly healthy.

Our meal started with a Rose Lemon cooler and good ol’ vegan satay and peanut sauce. The menu had a wide range of options from burgers to  Malay food and Singapore favorites like Laksa. I picked the Nasi Campur, while my friends tried the Tandoori flame burger , Almond crumb fillet and Laksa. I was quite blown away by the fantastic textures of mock mutton in the Campur and shrimp in the Laksa.

Dessert was Mudvelicous, a version of Chocolate mud pie as an ice-cream cake. Made with soy milk, it’s totally guilt free,  a chocolate lover’s dream in a nutshell!

Great service and a lovely atmosphere to complement it, you will want to come back to Loving Hut for more.🍃
